VINTAGE BOMBS FOUND IN TAGUDIN

Tagudin, Ilocos Sur — Several vintage bombs and hundreds of ammunitions were discovered by two residents while digging a compost pit in Barangay Libtong, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, last Monday. Inspector Cesar Milanes Jr., Tagudin town’s chief of police, said that 10 pieces of mortar bombs and 550 rounds of ammunitions for a .30-caliber rifle were found in the backyard of Teresita Tabura by diggers Jayvee Lorena, 21; and Lander Neil Lapitan, 18. The explosives were turned over to the Ilocos Sur Provincial Public Safety Company. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
